Happy Land Safety Policy
For the comfort and enjoyment of everyone visiting us, we ask if our Rules of Play can be followed and respected by everyone…
- For the safety of other children, the management reserve the right to remove unruly children from Happy Land
- Management reserve the right to refuse admission or to ask anyone to leave at any time without a refund should these rules not be followed
Parents & Guardians MUST:
- Remain on the premises at all times
- Know where their child is at all times and ensure their child is able to be located at all times
- Monitor their child to ensure he/she is capable of accessing the soft play levels safely
- Remain responsible for the behaviours and well-being of their children and must maintain supervision at all times
- NOT enter the soft play at any time. If your child needs assistance seek support from a member of the team
Parents & Guardians MUST:
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at all times. Happy Land at Hugo’s does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children
- Children must be under 9 years of age to enter the play area
- To ensure the safety of our young guests, they must be below 145cm to play in Happy Land. No exceptions can be made and we ask that non-playing children remain off the equipment
- Children should use the toilet and wash their hands prior to entering the play area
- Jewellery, watches and any other hard objects should be removed before entering the play area
- Spectacles should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses. Happy Land at Hugo’s cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of such articles
- Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area
- Shoes must be removed before entering the play area and socks must be worn at all times
- Play equipment must not be thrown at any time
- Extra care should be taken in front of the slide exits
- Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated
- It is forbidden to smoke or have an open flame within Happy Land
- In the interest of Health and Safety, please ensure that any food or drink debris that falls on the floor is picked up/wiped up as soon as possible. Please seek support from a member of the team if assistance is needed
- Report ALL accidents to a member of the team, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise the potential of re-occurrence. Accidents will be logged and are an important part of Happy Land’s ongoing commitment to providing safe play
- All damages must be reported, either accidental or deliberate
- Happy Land offer baby changing facilities and support breast feeding
- Only food purchased from Hugo’s can be consumed on the premises
- Verbal or physical abuse towards any team member or visitor will not be tolerated
And finally..
- The team from Happy Land at Hugo’s encourage children to play and have fun, they rigorously inspect, supervise and clean the play equipment throughout the day, helping to maximise both your children’s and your enjoyment when visiting.
- Due to the nature of a Soft Play centre, Happy Land will pose inherent risks such as, but not limited to, tripping, falling and bumping into other children and objects.
- Parents/Guardians should note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the soft play,Happy Land at Hugo’s & Hugo’s (Ice Cream) Ltd cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment.
- Happy Land at Hugo’s and Hugo’s (Ice Cream) Ltd accept no liability for any loss (including theft), damage or personal injury, unless due to our negligence or other breach of duty. This also includes the front and rear car park spaces.
